We will be sponsoring successful Swiss wrestler Joel Strebel as part of a deal running from 2022 to 2025. Having already played a key role as a key sponsor of the Aargau Cantonal Wrestling Festival in July 2022, Wiederkehr Recycling AG is taking its support of Swiss wrestling to the next level in the form of this sponsorship deal with Joel Strebel. With strong ties to the Freiamt region and a dynamic and down-to-earth manner, his pleasant and authentic air reflects our values: ‘traditional and modern’. Joel Strebel has already taken the crown at various events on numerous occasions and is working towards the 2025 Swiss Wrestling and Alpine Festival in Glarus. EV Zug always plays at the highest level and regularly delivers exciting and first-rate games within the National League. The club has thousands of fans from all over Switzerland. The 2021/22 season saw the EVZ win the third championship in the club’s history. Focussed, efficient and known for its incredible team spirit, the EVZ embodies the exact qualities of our corporate philosophy. We are extremely pleased to have become a bronze sponsor for the club and a banner sponsor for the Bossard Arena in Zug.

The Blue Sharks floorball club is dedicated to enabling anyone with an interest in floorball to take part in the sport, with a special emphasis on enabling young people to do so. The club is very passionate about team sports and floorball in particular, and that passion is evident in everything it does. Blue Sharks has about 120 active members, 80 of whom are juniors, which makes the club an important player in the local club scene. The tournament in the village of Waltenschwil has been an important floorball event in the area for decades. The club’s long history, roots in the local area and commitment to the community are impressive and have inspired us to offer it our support.

The 115th Aargau Cantonal Festival, held from 8–10 July 2022, was organised by the Beinwil/Freiamt gymnastics club and the Freiamt Swiss Wrestling Club. The input and contributions from another 60 clubs from Freiamt and a total of 900 helpers and supporters made this community festival a terrific success. The three-day festival, which was held on the ‘Chäbere’ event grounds, attracted around 10,000 visitors, of which 6,200 also visited the Swiss wrestling arena – an all-round success. The festival was held under the motto: ‘A terrific event’. It has been a pleasure to support this successful event as its main sponsor.
