When factories are demolished, the old machinery needs to be disposed of professionally. This is usually done on site, as the machines are often too big, heavy or bulky to transport in one piece. Everything is dismantled using cutting torches and sometimes transported directly to the steelworks. It is not just machinery that can be recycled, but also railway carriages, lorries and turbines. Every contract is unique and is project managed individually.
