Even electronic devices are full of raw materials that can be reintroduced into the production process. We distinguish between two types of household appliances. Firstly, large appliances like ovens, cookers and washing machines, and secondly small appliances, such as toasters, mixers, radios, etc. Fridges and freezers fall into a special category, as disposal of the compressors has to comply with special requirements and is therefore also more expensive.

The electrical scrap is separated out and shredded at a cutting plant. Only uncontaminated e-scrap, free of harmful substances, is allowed to be processed. Wiederkehr Recycling is SENS and SWICO certified and is a take-back point for all household appliances.
